A leather tag
that knows the
way home.

A hand-finished charm for your dog’s collar. Whoever finds them holds up a phone, and everything they need to get your dog back to you is right there — current, complete, and nothing to download.

How it works

It takes about five minutes,
and then it looks after itself.

01

Clip it on

Fasten the charm to your dog’s collar. It arrives ready to go — no tools, no batteries, nothing to pair or install.

02

Tell us about them

A photo, your number, and the things a stranger would need to know: allergies, medication, your vet. Change any of it later, from anywhere.

03

Anyone can read it

If your dog wanders off, whoever finds them holds a phone to the charm. Your dog’s page opens in seconds, and they can call you straight from it.

Actual size, roughly

Small enough that your dog forgets it’s there. Big enough that a phone finds it first time.

The making of it

Cut, wrapped, stitched,
and finished by hand.

There is very little to a PawCharm, and that is deliberate. Fewer parts means fewer things that can fail on the day it actually matters.

FaceEspresso leather

Wrapped by hand around the core, so the grain runs unbroken across the front.

CoreMoulded resin

The NFC inlay is set inside the core, where it is protected from knocks and weather.

StitchingCream waxed thread

A saddle stitch, worked by hand. If one stitch ever fails the seam holds, which is the whole reason saddle stitching exists.

EdgesBurnished and sealed

Rubbed down and closed so the layers read as a single piece of leather rather than a stack.

PowerNone at all

The phone reading the charm supplies the energy. There is nothing inside to charge, and nothing to run flat at the worst possible moment.

Materials

Leather, thread, and
nothing that runs out
of charge.

A moulded core wrapped in espresso leather and saddle-stitched by hand in cream waxed thread, with the edges burnished and sealed. There is no battery inside and nothing to charge — the phone reading the charm supplies the power. It will keep working for as long as the leather does, and leather only gets better.

The thinking

Small decisions that matter
at the worst moment.

A stranger holding your lost dog should not have to install anything. Tapping the charm opens a web page — the one thing every phone already knows how to do.

On not needing an app

An engraved tag is out of date the moment you change your number. A page never is. You edit it, and it is right again — no reprinting, no new tag.

On staying current

Your home address is never shown. You choose exactly what a finder can see, and you can switch any of it off the moment you want to.

Wherever they get to

It works the same
wherever they turn up.

There’s nothing to set up for your area and no coverage to check. If the person who finds your dog has a phone, they can reach you — one street away, or three states over.

Questions

Still wondering?

No. Tapping the charm opens your dog’s page in the phone’s browser — nothing to download, nothing to sign up for, no account. It works on any modern iPhone or Android.

Every charm also carries a short web address, so a finder can simply type it in instead. In practice it rarely comes up: nearly every phone made in the last eight years reads NFC.

Sign in from any device, edit the page, and it’s live immediately. Move house, change your number, switch vets — the charm itself never needs replacing.

You decide exactly what a finder sees. Your home address is never shown, and you can toggle any detail on or off whenever you like. We’ll let you know when the charm has been scanned.

It’s leather, so it’s tougher than it looks and it ages rather than wears out — expect it to darken and soften over the years. There’s no battery to die and no electronics on the surface to break. Treat it like a good watch strap: rain and mud are fine, and it would rather dry naturally than sit soaked.

Each charm links to its own page, so every dog gets their own. Households with two dogs usually take the pair.
